CBSE Launches Post-Result Psychosocial Counseling Service for Class 10th and 12th Students
CBSE Post-Result Counselling 2025: CBSE released a press note today. In this press note, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) mentioned that it has started a free psychosocial counselling service for Class 10th and 12th students in the post-result phase. CBSE stated that this second phase of counselling will run for 15 days, continuing until May 28, 2025.
CBSE has launched this initiative with the aim of reducing the stress and anxiety arising after the announcement of results. This service is available not only to students but also to their parents.
CBSE informed that a team of 65 experts is engaged in this phase, including 51 professionals from India and 14 from abroad.
All these professionals are principals of CBSE-affiliated government and private schools, trained counsellors, special educators, and psychologists, who are voluntarily providing tele-counselling services.
CBSE also stated that students and parents can access this service by calling the toll-free number 1800-11-8004 from anywhere in India. This helpline is not limited to tele-counselling but also provides practical tips and essential information related to stress management through the IVRS system.
