In a major initiative to raise environmental awareness among students and citizens, the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has launched a nationwide online quiz titled “Ending Plastic Pollution” to mark World Environment Day 2025, observed globally on 5th June.

Organised through the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) in collaboration with MyGov, this quiz aims to engage school and college students in an interactive learning experience focused on the harmful impacts of plastic pollution. The quiz supports the United Nations’ theme for this year’s Environment Day, “2025 – Ending Plastic Pollution,” and serves as a platform to promote informed environmental responsibility.
