CBSE Reminds Schools: Only Two Days Left to Submit LOC for Supplementary Examination 2025
CBSE Board has issued an important reminder for all affiliated schools regarding the submission of the List of Candidates (LOC) for the upcoming Supplementary Examination 2025. According to the official notice, schools must act immediately, as only two days remain to complete the process without incurring a late fee.
In a detailed circular dated 16 June 2025, the Board highlighted that the final date to submit the LOC without late fee is 17 June 2025 (Tuesday). Schools that miss this deadline will still have a chance to submit until 19 June 2025 (Thursday), but they must pay a late fee.
CBSE has clearly stated that schools must submit the LOC for all students who have been placed in the Compartment category, even if the schools have not been able to reach them personally. Furthermore, schools are directed to include students who have applied for Verification of Marks or Re-evaluation, without waiting for the outcome of these processes.
The Board emphasised that if a school fails to submit a student’s name, that student will lose the chance to appear in the supplementary exams, which could affect their academic progress.
Therefore, all principals and heads of CBSE-affiliated institutions are urged to ensure that they complete the submission within the given schedule to avoid any inconvenience for students and to comply with the Board’s instructions.
This timely action will help students secure their opportunity to appear in the Supplementary Examination 2025, supporting their future educational goals.
