The Department of Science & Technology (DST), in partnership with MyGov, has announced the Gyan Vigyan Quiz 2025. This exciting online competition starts on 18 June 2025 and ends on 18 July 2025. The quiz highlights India’s rapid progress in science, technology, and innovation over the last decade.
What Is the Gyan Vigyan Quiz All About?
The quiz celebrates key achievements like Chandrayaan missions, the National Quantum Mission, electric mobility projects, and supercomputing breakthroughs. Participants will answer questions that honour India’s inspiring scientific journey and growing role as a global science leader.

Who Can Participate in the Gyan Vigyan Quiz?
All Indian citizens can join the quiz. The competition is open to everyone, regardless of age or background. However, employees directly linked with the organisers and their immediate family members cannot participate.
How Does the Gyan Vigyan Quiz Work?
The quiz is time-bound. Once participants click on ‘Play Quiz’, they will get 300 seconds to answer 10 questions. Each participant can submit only one entry. Multiple entries from the same person will not be accepted.
Where Can You Access the Gyan Vigyan Quiz?
Participants can attempt the quiz on MyGov’s quiz portal. It is available in both English and Hindi, ensuring maximum reach and comfort for all participants.
Participants must follow all rules strictly. Use of unfair means or impersonation will lead to disqualification. Organisers reserve the right to cancel entries or change rules if needed. All disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of Delhi courts only.
