NCERT organises a one-day workshop on responsible social media, focusing on AI, digital ethics, fake news, and online safety.
The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is organising a one-day workshop on social media titled “From Clicks to Credibility: AI’s Role in Responsible Social Media” to highlight how artificial intelligence and ethical digital practices can strengthen trust, accuracy, and credibility in the online space.
The workshop will be held on December 23, 2025, at the Central Institute of Educational Technology, NCERT, New Delhi. It aims to bring together educators, professionals, and stakeholders to better understand the growing influence of social media and the need for responsible engagement in an era increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence.
Focus on Responsible Digital Engagement

The workshop will cover the role of artificial intelligence in shaping social media narratives, methods of fact-checking and identifying fake news, the importance of cybersecurity and digital safety, and the ethical use of social media platforms in professional and public communication.
