CBSE Faces Fresh Allegations Over Wrong Answer Sheets and OSM Issues

CBSE Faces Big Trouble After Students Claim Wrong Answer Sheets

CBSE is facing growing criticism over its post-result process as more students raise concerns about scanned answer sheets and the On-Screen Marking system. After earlier complaints related to wrong answer sheets another Class 12 student has now alleged that the board sent pages from another student’s answer book during the re-evaluation process.

Students and parents have also complained about technical problems on the CBSE portal. Many students said the website did not work properly during peak hours and some could not apply for scanned copies of answer sheets before the deadline. Several parents and students have reportedly reached CBSE regional offices seeking help regarding re-evaluation and scanned copy issues.

Student Sends Legal Notice Over Alleged Wrong Answer Sheet

A Class 12 student has sent a legal notice to CBSE and the Education Ministry alleging serious errors in the scanned answer sheet provided by the board. According to the notice only the first page of the scanned English answer sheet belonged to the student while the remaining pages allegedly belonged to another candidate.

The student claimed the handwriting and pen style on the later pages were completely different from his original writing. The notice accused CBSE of negligence poor answer sheet management and major flaws in the examination process.

Legal Notice Demands Investigation

The notice demanded immediate access to the student’s actual answer sheet along with a fair re-evaluation of the paper. It also asked CBSE to preserve all records and digital logs connected to the case and explain how another student’s pages were allegedly attached to the scanned copy.

The student’s side warned that legal action may follow if the issue is not resolved within two days.

Similar Complaints Surface Online

This is not the first time students have raised concerns about scanned answer sheets. In recent days several students have shared complaints on social media regarding answer sheet mismatches missing pages and portal issues linked to the OSM evaluation system.

One earlier case became widely discussed online after a student alleged that the board had uploaded the wrong Physics answer sheet. CBSE later responded to the matter and reportedly provided the correct scanned copy.

Students Demand Deadline Extension

Many students have requested CBSE to extend the application deadline for scanned answer sheets and re-evaluation because of technical disruptions on the portal. Students said heavy traffic and payment issues affected the application process.
