Board Gives Students Additional Time to Complete Applications Through Post-Result Services Portal
CBSE has extended the last date for submitting applications for verification and re-evaluation of Class 12 board examination answer sheets. Students can now apply until June 7, 2026 (midnight). Earlier, the deadline was June 6.
CBSE announced the extension through its official social media account and said it took the decision in the interest of students to provide them with additional time and support.

Why Did CBSE Extend the Deadline?
CBSE extended the deadline after several students reported difficulties while using the Post-Result Services Portal. Some students faced problems in accessing scanned copies of their answer sheets and completing the verification and re-evaluation process.
The board decided to give students one more day so that they can complete their applications without any unnecessary pressure.
What Can Students Apply For?
CBSE opened the Post-Result Services Portal on June 2 for Class 12 students who want to review their evaluated answer sheets. Through the portal, students can apply for verification and re-evaluation if they are not satisfied with their results. Students can also check scanned copies of their answer books and report any issues they find.
What Issues Can Students Report?
Students can raise concerns such as missing pages, missing supplementary sheets, missing maps or graphs, blurred pages, incorrect answer books, or evaluation against a different question paper set. CBSE allows students to submit these concerns through the online portal as part of the verification process.

In recent days, some Class 12 students claimed that the scanned copies of answer sheets available on the portal did not match their handwriting. These claims raised questions about the evaluation process and the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system used by CBSE. The issue has attracted attention from students and parents across the country.

The Cabinet Secretariat has announced the formation of a one-member committee to examine the procurement of services related to the On-Screen Marking system used by CBSE. The committee will review the matter and submit its findings.
