Students of Classes 8 to 12 can take part in the CBSE-CVC Poster Making Competition 2026. Check the theme, poster rules, important dates and submission details
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) will organise a Poster Making Competition for students of Classes VIII to XII. The competition will run from 22 September to 1 October 2026 in CBSE-affiliated schools.
The competition will take place before Vigilance Awareness Week 2026. The week will run from 26 October to 1 November 2026. CBSE will also organise a webinar on 25 September 2026 at 11:30 AM to create awareness and encourage student participation.

Poster Making Competition 2026
Students from Classes VIII to XII can participate in the competition. The topic for the poster is “सत्यमिष्ठा से समृद्धि” – “Probity for Prosperity”.
Schools must conduct the competition during school hours under teacher supervision. Schools can conduct it on any date between 22 September and 1 October 2026.
Students must prepare the poster in A2 size with landscape orientation. They can use Hindi or English as the medium. CBSE will disqualify entries that contain plagiarism.
School-Level Selection
Each school will conduct the first-level evaluation and select three best entries. The school must upload these three entries on the CBSE portal. CBSE will provide the upload link to schools on its website on 25 September 2026.
Each entry must include the topic. It must also include the student’s name and class. The entry must include the father’s mother’s or guardian’s name. It must also include the student’s mobile number and email address. School details and school contact details must also appear on the entry.

CBSE will accept entries in PDF JPG or PNG format. Each entry must not exceed 2 MB. Schools must upload the three selected entries between 25 September and 1 October 2026.

Evaluation and Recognition
Schools may recognise their three best entries during Vigilance Awareness Week 2026. The Principal or Head of School may also honour the selected students during the week.

CBSE will further evaluate all entries through a team of Art and Language experts. CBSE will select the best 25 entries after evaluation. The Board will honour the top 10 entries at the national level during Vigilance Awareness Week 2026. The best 25 entries will also become part of an exhibition during the week.
CBSE will focus on originality of ideas and intellectual honesty during the evaluation. Any plagiarism detected at any stage will lead to disqualification.
Evaluation Criteria
CBSE will evaluate the posters on four areas. These include Originality and Creativity. Expression and Organisation. Aesthetic and Visual Impact. Message and Relevance to the Theme. The maximum score is 16 marks.
The decision of the evaluators will remain final. CBSE will not entertain further communication regarding the selection.
