CBSE Extends Registration Deadline for 2025-26 Sports Events, Late Fee Structure Announced
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially extended the last date for registration and application to participate in the CBSE Games 2025–26. Schools across India affiliated with CBSE now have until 16 June 2025 to complete the registration process. The announcement was made through Circular No. Acad-32/2025, dated 10 June 2025.
Late Fee Structure in Place for Delayed Submissions
According to the latest circular, no further extension will be granted beyond the revised deadline. However, CBSE has introduced a structured late fee system for schools that miss the new cut-off date:
From 17 June to 23 June 2025 | A late fee of ₹500 per student will apply |
From 24 June to 30 June 2025 | The late fee increases to ₹1000 per student |
The payments must be made online through the official CBSE Sports Portal while filling out the participation form.
