Capacity Building Workshop to Be Held in Delhi on 25 June 2025; Free Registration Open
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a one-day offline Capacity Building Programme for teachers handling the Skill Subject “Shorthand English (825)”. The training will be conducted on 25 June 2025 in New Delhi, aiming to strengthen classroom delivery for this vocational subject offered to Classes XI and XII.
Offline Training for Shorthand English Teachers
This initiative is being led by the Department of Skill Education, CBSE. It is designed for teachers already teaching Shorthand English or from schools planning to introduce this skill subject in the upcoming academic session.
The training will be conducted offline at the YWCA of Delhi Women’s Training Institute, located near Connaught Place, New Delhi. The session will run from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Who Should Attend the Workshop?
CBSE has clearly stated that the training is mandatory for teachers of CBSE-affiliated schools where “Shorthand English” is already being taught or is set to be introduced.
This programme aims to empower teachers with updated pedagogical tools, practical methods, and board-level guidance for effective teaching of this niche but valuable subject.
No Fee, But Registration Is Required
Participation in the programme is free of cost, and no TA/DA will be provided by CBSE. Teachers must register by 24 June 2025 (Tuesday) using the link provided by the board:
