CUET PG 2025: Registration Deadline Extended, Apply Till February 8
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration deadline for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET PG) 2025. Candidates can now apply until February 8, 2025. This extension aims to provide more time for applicants facing difficulties in completing their registration process.
The last date for application submission was earlier set for February 7, but now students can complete their application process until February 8, 2025. Additionally, candidates can make corrections to their applications until February 9, 2025, at 11:50 PM. The admit card download link will be available from March 7, 2025 onwards.
How Many Exam Cities Are Available?
The CUET PG 2025 exam will be conducted in 312 cities across India. Candidates have the option to select up to four preferred cities as their exam centers. However, the final allotment of centers will be subject to availability.
Exam Duration Reduced, Question Count Unchanged
This year, the exam duration has been reduced from 105 minutes to 90 minutes. However, the total number of questions will remain 75, similar to previous years.
The exam will be conducted in two shifts, and candidates will have four paper options to choose from. Each question paper will be based on subject-specific content. The question paper will have a total of 300 marks, with four marks awarded for every correct answer and one mark deducted for each incorrect response.
Marking Scheme and Key Points for Candidates
Students must note the updated marking scheme. Each correct answer will fetch four marks, while one mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.
Additionally, time management is crucial as the exam duration has been reduced. Candidates should focus on completing all 75 questions within 90 minutes to maximize their scores.

- Candidates must choose their exam center preferences wisely, as changes may not be allowed after submission.
- The correction window will be open until February 9, 2025, for those needing to modify their applications.
- The exam will take place from March 13 to May 31, 2025, and admit cards will be available for download from March 7, 2025.
- The final exam center allocation will depend on availability, and some candidates may be assigned centers different from their selected cities.
