CUET UG 2025 Registration Closing Soon! How to Apply for CUET UG 2025 Before the Deadline?
Important news for students! The CUET UG 2025 registration process will end on March 22. If you haven’t applied yet, now is the time to do it. The Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) is the gateway to top central, state, deemed, and private universities across India.
Interested candidates can apply online through the official website – cuet.nta.nic.in.The last date to complete the fee payment is March 23 (till 11:50 PM).
When Is the CUET UG 2025 Exam?
The CUET UG 2025 exam is scheduled from May 8 to June 1. The exam will be conducted fully in computer-based test (CBT) mode, unlike last year when some tests were conducted in pen-and-paper format.
Candidates can choose up to five subjects, including languages and the General Aptitude Test. The fee will depend on the number of subjects selected.
What Comes Next After Registration?
- Correction Window: If you need to make changes to your application, NTA will open a correction window from March 24 to 26.
- Exam City & Admit Card: Details about exam centers and admit cards will be released later on the official website.
- Exam Duration: Each paper will be 60 minutes long, and the test will be conducted in multiple shifts, depending on the number of candidates and subject combinations.
How Many Subjects & Languages Are Available?
The CUET UG 2025 exam will cover 37 subjects and will be conducted in 13 Indian languages, including:
- English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Odia, Marathi, Gujarati, Assamese, Punjabi, Kannada, and Malayalam.

CUET UG provides a single platform for students to apply for multiple universities with one entrance test. This eliminates the need for multiple entrance exams and makes the admission process more streamlined.
After a controversial exam season in 2024, with allegations of question paper leaks, the NTA aims for a smoother and more transparent process this year. The agency is already conducting CUET PG exams and is focused on ensuring fair and secure exams for all candidates.
