Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0: A Unique Campaign Linking Mother’s Love and Nature
The Union Ministry of Education has launched the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0” campaign. This campaign is for all students from class 1 to 12. Children will honor their mothers by planting a tree or sapling in their name. At the same time, they will help protect nature around them.
Mothers give us life, protect us, and care for us. Similarly, trees are very important for our lives. Trees give us fresh air and shade. They keep our environment healthy. Through this campaign, children will give their mothers a special gift — a gift that lasts forever.
To join, students must fill out a form. They will enter their name, class, age, school UDISE ID, and parents’ names. They also need to upload a picture with their mother and the tree. The Ministry of Education will give students an appreciation certificate. They can download it online.
This campaign will raise environmental awareness in children. It will teach them to protect our earth. The Ministry asks schools, teachers, and parents to share this message. They want more and more children to join the campaign.
