NCERT-CIET Online Training: Digital Arrest & Social Media Safety on March 6-7, 2025
NCERT-CIET has launched an important training on “Emerging Concerns in Cyberspace.” It focuses on cyber threats, online safety, and digital well-being. Today’s session on March 6, 2025, covers “Digital Arrest.” Tomorrow’s session on March 7, 2025, will discuss “Social Media Safety.”

Students, Teachers, Teacher Educators, Parents, Administrators and all those who are interested.
What is Digital Arrest and Why is it Important?
The fourth-day session will focus on “Digital Arrest.” It will be led by Dr. Deepak Kumar, Senior Technical Manager at I4C, Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), New Delhi.
The session will explain how to stay safe from cybercrime, fraud, and online threats. It will also cover legal frameworks and security measures to protect users from digital risks.
How Can Social Media Safety Be Ensured?
The final session on March 7, 2025, will cover “Social Media Safety.” It will be conducted by Maj. Vineet Kumar, Founder and Global President, CyberPeace Foundation.
This session will highlight the dangers of social media, including privacy risks. It will also provide tips on protecting personal data and avoiding online harassment.

How to Get a Certificate for This Training?
Enroll in the Online Course on the DIKSHA portal. The course link will be updated by March 7, 2025, at 7 PM.
Watch all five session videos and take the final assessment. You will get three attempts to clear it.
Score 70% or more to receive a certification from NCERT-CIET. Certificates will be available within 15-20 days on the DIKSHA profile.
