CBSE Workshop for Principals & Counselors 2025 – Offline Orientation Program Date, Venue, Registration Details
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced an offline orientation programme titled “Parenting for Student Wellness and Growth”, aimed at strengthening the role of parents and educators in students’ emotional and academic development.
In line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, this initiative underscores CBSE’s commitment to fostering holistic student development through school-parent collaboration.
A Step Towards Mental Health and Student Safety
The orientation programme will be held on 26 July 2025 in Patna and is designed specifically for Principals, Vice-Principals, Counselors, and Wellness Teachers of CBSE-affiliated schools. The event will focus on:
- Psychological development of students
- Effective communication between parents and children
- Balancing discipline with empathy
- Building a supportive environment in schools and homes
The workshop aims to address growing concerns around child mental health, safety, and the changing dynamics of parent-child relationships in modern India.
Parenting Calendar 2025–26 and CBSE’s Vision
Earlier this year, CBSE released the Parenting Calendar 2025–26, a flexible framework that promotes parental involvement through age-appropriate academic, emotional, and life-skill activities. The new orientation is an extension of this calendar, focusing on real-time training for educators to engage parents more meaningfully.
