What is this NCERT-CIET training about?
NCERT-CIET has announced a five-day online training on “Device & Network Security” to strengthen the professional competence of teachers, school leaders, administrators, and all interested participants. The programme focuses on protecting digital infrastructures, preventing cyber threats, and ensuring safe online learning environments.
The training will be organised in collaboration with C-DAC, ISEA Hyderabad. Sessions will be conducted in English from 29 September to 03 October 2025 and in Hindi from 06 to 10 October 2025, from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm daily.
Why is device and network security important in education?
With the rise of digital learning platforms, schools and institutions depend heavily on secure networks and devices. Threats such as phishing, ransomware, and data breaches not only affect privacy but also impact academic integrity and learner wellbeing.
This training highlights preventive measures like software updates, multi-factor authentication, encrypted communication, and secure Wi-Fi policies.

Step 3: Complete Online Course & Certification | Join the online course on DIKSHA Portal (available till 15 March 2026). Go through all five videos, attempt the final assessment (three attempts allowed). Scoring 70% or above earns an e-certificate, accessible in DIKSHA profile within 15–20 days. |
Step 4: Submit Feedback | Fill the Feedback Form or scan QR code. Feedback helps improve future trainings. |
