CBSE Urges Schools to Encourage Student Participation in IIT Delhi–AIIMS ‘Anastomosis’ Innovation Programme

CBSE has issued a new notification encouraging all affiliated schools to inform and motivate students to participate in “Anastomosis”, a collaborative academic and innovation programme jointly organised by IIT Delhi and AIIMS New Delhi.

The initiative aims to give school students early exposure to interdisciplinary learning, research culture, and real-world innovation across engineering, medical sciences, technology, and entrepreneurship. According to the circular, registration for the programme is open until December 31, 2025.

Anastomosis is a joint initiative of the Entrepreneurship Development Cells (eDC) of IIT Delhi and AIIMS New Delhi. It is a national program that combines engineering, medicine, and entrepreneurship to help students understand how technology and innovation address real challenges in healthcare and society.

The initiative gives selected students a rare chance to learn directly from two of India’s leading institutions. This initiative is completely free of cost for all the students from Classes 8 – 12.
