CBSE invites students to submit original entries for Sapnon Ki Udaan August 2026 edition on the theme Time Management in the Digital Age.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has invited entries from students for the August 2026 edition of Sapnon ki Udaan. The e-magazine is published by NCERT. CBSE issued the notification on August 27 2026.
The theme for this edition is “Time Management in the Digital Age”. The theme focuses on how students can manage time in a digital environment.

Students can submit creative work on time management
The magazine has listed several sub-themes for student contributions. These include time management as a life skill and intelligent time budgeting. Students can also write about self-regulation and discipline.
The other sub-themes include digital discipline and screen-time management. Students can explore ways to balance academics with play and well-being. The role of teachers and parents in developing time-management skills also forms part of the theme.
Students can also submit work on stress management. Goal setting and prioritization also feature in the list. The magazine also invites content on sleep and fitness. Students can explore social life dilemmas along with the ethical use of technology and ways to prevent digital dependency.
Entries can cover different categories
The guidelines allow students to submit different types of creative work. A story can have 500 to 800 words. A poem can have 12 to 26 lines with a maximum of 200 words.
Students can submit a travelogue of 500 to 800 words. A dialogue or play can have 300 to 500 words. A quiz or trivia entry can contain a maximum of 20 questions.
The magazine also accepts a photo essay. Students should submit an interesting image with a description of 250 to 300 words.
Schools can submit up to four entries
Each school can submit a maximum of four best entries. The entries must come from different categories.

The magazine also welcomes content on categories that do not follow the main theme. Such content can cover any theme.
Entries must be original
The circular states that all submissions must be original and unpublished. Plagiarised or AI-generated content will not be accepted.
Students should make their content informative and engaging. They must also follow the prescribed word limits and format instructions.
Students can submit entries in Hindi English or any Indian language. The guidelines also specify the required text formats for different languages.
School principals must submit the entries
Students cannot submit the entries directly. The school Principal must submit the entries through the official cbseshiksha.in email ID.
CBSE has asked schools to encourage students to submit original and creative work on the given theme. Schools should also share the information with students and teachers.
Previous contributors face a three-issue restriction
Students whose work has already appeared in Sapnon ki Udaan will not qualify for publication in the next three issues. The guideline aims to provide opportunities to new contributors.
September 3 is the submission deadline
The last date for submission is September 3 2026. Schools must submit entries through the Google Form provided in the CBSE notification.
The circular also provides an email address for queries related to the e-magazine.
