CBSE Offers Free Counseling for Board Exam Students: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is stepping in to help students appearing for the Class 10 and 12 board exams by providing free counseling services. As the CBSE exams begin on February 15, 2025, many students experience stress and anxiety. To support them, CBSE is launching psycho-social counseling from February 1.

24×7 Free IVR Counseling
Students and parents can access CBSE’s IVR counseling service by calling the toll-free number 1800-11-8004. This service is available 24×7 and free of cost. It provides:
- Tips on stress-free exam preparation
- Time management strategies
- Answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs)
- Important CBSE office contact details
This facility is available in both Hindi and English, ensuring accessibility for all students.
CBSE Podcasts for Stress Management
CBSE has also introduced podcasts where students can listen to discussions on stress management and mental well-being. These podcasts are available on the official CBSE website (cbse.gov.in) and can be accessed in both Hindi and English.
Tele-Counseling by Expert Counselors
For those who need direct interaction, CBSE’s tele-counseling service is available Monday to Saturday from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. This service is completely free and connects students with 66 trained counselors, principals, psychologists, and special educators.
