CBSE Board Result 2025: Class 10 and 12 Results Expected Soon, Check Official Websites and Latest Updates

New Delhi. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the results of Class 10 and Class 12 examinations. This year, around 42 lakh students had appeared for the CBSE Board Exams 2025.

CBSE Board exams were held between February 15 and April 4, 2025. Now students and parents are eagerly waiting for the announcement of CBSE 10th Results 2025 and CBSE 12th Results 2025. The board is expected to declare the results of both Class 10 and Class 12 by mid-May 2025.

If we look at the trend of releasing the results of previous years, in 2024, CBSE had released the results on May 13, in 2023 on May 12 and in 2022 on July 22 due to delay due to the pandemic. Usually, the CBSE board results are out in the month of May. So, this year also the results are likely to be released in the second or third week of May. The official date will be announced soon by the board.

Students will be able to check their CBSE Board Result 2025 on the official websites of the board – cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in and results.cbse.nic.in. Students will have to enter their roll number, school number and admit card ID to view the result. As soon as the result is declared, the direct link will be activated on the websites so that students can easily download their scorecards.

The objective of the CBSE board exams is to assess the annual study achievements of the students. If a student secures 33 per cent marks, he / she is declared pass.

If a student misses the passing marks by one or two marks, then at the discretion of the board, a decision can be taken to pass him by giving him grace marks. The policy is aimed at providing opportunities to students and not hampering their academic journey.
