CBSE Opens Class 10 Post Result Process for 2026 Board Exams

CBSE has announced the complete schedule for obtaining scanned answer books, verification of marks, and re evaluation. Students should understand the two-stage process before submitting their applications.

CBSE has started the post result process for Class 10 students who appeared in the Main Board Examination 2026 and the Second Board Examination 2026. Students can now apply for a scanned copy of their evaluated answer book. They can also apply for verification of marks and re evaluation as per the schedule announced by the board.

Students Must Apply in Two Stages

CBSE has divided the process into two stages. Students must first obtain the scanned copy of their evaluated answer book. After checking the answer book they can apply for verification of marks or re evaluation. Only students who obtain the scanned copy can move to the next stage.

Rules for Main Board Students

Students who appeared only in the Main Board Examination can first apply for the scanned copy of their evaluated answer book. After receiving it they can apply for verification of marks or re evaluation for one or more full questions in the same answer book.

Rules for Students Who Appeared in Both Exams

Students who appeared in both the Main Board Examination and the Second Board Examination can obtain scanned copies of either answer book or both. However they can request verification of marks or re evaluation for only one answer book in a subject. Once they choose one answer book they cannot change it later for that subject.

Applications Will Be Accepted Only Online

CBSE will accept all applications only through the online mode. Students must submit their requests within the prescribed schedule. The board will not accept offline applications or requests submitted after the last date. Students must also pay the fee online.

Students Must Apply Carefully

CBSE will accept only one application for each stage from a student. Students should decide in advance whether they want to apply for one subject or more than one subject. They must submit all details carefully because the board will reject applications that do not follow the instructions.

Marks May Increase or Decrease

CBSE has stated that marks may increase or decrease after verification or re evaluation. Marks may also remain unchanged. If marks change then students must surrender the earlier mark statement and certificate. The board will issue a fresh mark statement and certificate after the revision.

CBSE Explains the Verification Process

The board has advised students to first check the scanned answer book carefully. Students should compare their answers with the question paper and the official marking scheme. Students who apply for re evaluation must select the complete question and clearly state the reason for the request. Re evaluation will cover the full question only.

Board Shares Important Advice

CBSE has advised students and parents not to rely on rumours or unofficial social media posts about the result process. The board will share authentic updates only through its official communication channels. It has also said that its decision on marks after verification or re evaluation will be final.
