CBSE has declared the Class 12 Supplementary Examination 2026 results. Students can now access their results and digital academic documents through the DigiLocker Results Portal.
Who appeared for the CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Examination?
The supplementary examination covered three categories of students. These included compartment candidates who could not secure qualifying marks in one of the five mandatory subjects.

It also included students with six subjects who wanted to appear again in a main subject where they had not secured qualifying marks. Students who had already passed the examination but wanted to improve their performance in one subject also appeared in the examination.
How many students appeared in the CBSE Supplementary Examination?
A total of 2,91,576 candidates registered for the Class 12 Supplementary Examination 2026. Out of them 2,75,287 candidates appeared for the examination.
The Board said 1,11,056 candidates appeared for improvement while 1,64,231 candidates appeared under the compartment category.
The pass percentage in the compartment category stood at 53.08 percent. In 2025 the pass percentage for the same category was 38.36 percent.
How can students access their CBSE Supplementary Result?
How will schools receive the results?
Schools will receive their school wise results through their registered email addresses. Schools can also access the digital academic documents of their students through the repository using the credentials already provided by CBSE.
Can students studying abroad access their results?
Students studying in CBSE affiliated schools abroad can also access their results and digital academic documents through DigiLocker.
When will students receive printed marksheets?
CBSE will provide printed Marksheet cum Passing Certificates for regular students through their respective schools. This also includes regular students studying abroad.

Private candidates will receive their digital academic documents through DigiLocker. CBSE will send printed documents to their registered addresses. However private candidates under the Delhi East and Delhi West Regional Offices can collect their printed documents from the examination centres where they appeared.
What about post result facilities?
CBSE has said that details about post result facilities will be announced separately through an official circular.
