CBSE Issues Important Advisory for Board Exams 2026, Students Must follow These Instructions
CBSE has issued an important advisory for schools, parents, and students as the Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exams 2026 will begin on 17 February 2026. More than 46 lakh students from India and 26 countries will appear for the examinations this year.
CBSE has directed all students to reach their examination centres on or before 10:00 AM. The exam will start at 10:30 AM, and authorities will allow entry only until 10:00 AM. Students must strictly follow this timing.
CBSE has also informed students about possible traffic issues during the examination period. Several national and international summits, high-level meetings, and major events may cause traffic congestion and route diversions in different cities. These situations may lead to delays.
The Board has advised students to leave home early and plan their travel carefully. Students should check local traffic conditions, weather updates, and distance from the centre before starting their journey. Students appearing from abroad should also plan according to Indian Standard Time.
CBSE has asked all schools to guide parents and students properly. The Board has strongly advised students to visit their examination centres in advance and prepare a clear travel plan for every exam day.
Dr Sanyam Bhardwaj, Controller of Examinations, issued this advisory to ensure smooth and timely conduct of the CBSE Board Exams 2026.
