CBSE Organizes Exposure Visits for Principals to Promote Skill Education in Schools

New Delhi, March 31: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has taken an important step towards promoting Skill Education in CBSE schools. As part of the National Education Policy 2020, CBSE is now organizing Exposure Visits for CBSE Principals.

These visits will give school heads practical exposure to Skill Education institutes in India.

These visits will take place during April and May 2025. The goal is to help school principals understand how Skill Subjects can become part of regular school learning. Through this, schools can offer students job-ready skills along with academic knowledge.

What is the Purpose of These Exposure Visit of CBSE School Principals ?

The main purpose is to give principals a clear idea of how Skill (Vocational) Education works. These special exposure visits will show them modern skill labs and teaching methods. CBSE Principals will also learn how to collaborate with higher education institutions.

“These are not just visits. These are learning experiences. Principals will get exposure to industry-linked education,” a CBSE expert said.
