CBSE Asks Students Not to Panic Over Re-Evaluation and Scanned Copy Issues

CBSE has assured students and parents that the board remains fully committed to fairness transparency and accuracy in the evaluation and re-evaluation process. The board issued the clarification after many students reported technical issues and concerns related to scanned answer books and post-result services.

In an official statement shared on social media CBSE said students should not feel anxious if they face issues related to scanned copies missing pages blurred pages or unmarked answers. The board said subject experts will carefully review every genuine concern through the official verification and re-evaluation process.

CBSE Extends Deadline After Heavy Traffic on Portal

CBSE said more than 98.6 lakh answer sheets were evaluated this year through the On-Screen Marking system. The board also said a very large number of students applied for scanned answer books within a short period which created heavy traffic on the portal.

According to CBSE some students faced delays in payment confirmation and difficulties while accessing scanned copies during peak hours. The board said it has already taken corrective steps including improving technical infrastructure and extending deadlines to avoid inconvenience for students.

Last Date Extended Till 24 May

CBSE has extended the last date for applying for scanned answer books till 24 May 2026. The board also said the portal for re-evaluation requests will remain open for two days after the last scanned copy gets dispatched.

Board Advises Students to Stay Calm

CBSE requested parents and students to remain calm and trust only official information released by the board. The board warned that incomplete or misleading information can create unnecessary confusion and anxiety.

The board also advised students not to make repeated payment or application attempts while confirmation is pending because this may cause duplication and further delays.

CBSE Promises Fair Review of Genuine Concerns

CBSE said the purpose of verification and re-evaluation is to address genuine concerns in a structured and fair manner. The board assured students that experts will properly review all reported issues related to evaluation and scanned answer sheets.

The board finally reiterated its commitment to ensuring that every student’s concerns are handled fairly transparently and with due care.
