The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) held a live webinar on Registration and the List of Candidates (LOC) for the 2027 Board Examinations on September 29, 2026.
The session covered questions about student details, subject selection, LOC submission, Registration for Classes IX and XI, and fee-related rules. CBSE stressed the importance of submitting accurate information on time and following provisions for Children with Special Needs (CWSN).

CBSE Press Note : The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) organised a live webinar on “Relevance of Registration & LOC” today at the Auditorium, CBSE Integrated Office, Dwarka, New Delhi.
The webinar was organised in continuation of CBSE’s circulars relating to the submission of the List of Candidates (LOC) for the Class X and Class XII Board Examinations 2027 and correction of demographic details of students.
The webinar highlighted CBSE’s focus on making examination-related processes more student-friendly and transparent. Schools were encouraged to ensure correctness at every stage of Registration and LOC submission and provide timely guidance to students and parents, wherever required. They were also encouraged to resolve issues well in advance so that students can remain focused on their studies without being burdened by avoidable procedural difficulties.
CBSE has already commenced the LOC process for the Secondary and Senior Secondary Board Examinations 2027 and will shortly commence the Registration process for students of Classes IX and XI. These processes cover students studying in nearly 32,000 CBSE-affiliated schools across India and 26 countries.
A key highlight of the Webinar was a Live Q&A session, wherein questions received from principals and teachers were answered during the programme by senior CBSE Officials.

The questions broadly related to correction of student particulars, selection and change of subjects, submission and verification of LOC data, Registration of students in Classes IX and XI, fee-related provisions etc.
The Controller of Examinations made a presentation during the session on salient aspects of the Registration and LoC process.

During the webinar, emphasis was laid on the timely and accurate submission of Registration and LOC data, particularly the correctness of student particulars and subject combinations, compliance with fee-related provisions, and appropriate implementation of provisions relating to Children with Special Needs (CWSN).
The programme was live-streamed on CBSE’s official YouTube channel and witnessed large scale participation of students, parents and other stakeholders. More than 450 school principals and educators from CBSE-affiliated schools participated in the programme in person at the CBSE Integrated Office, Dwarka.
