CBSE Urges Schools to Encourage Participation in MyGov Online Activities to Celebrate India’s Spirit of Freedom and Innovation – Read Details
CBSE Board has issued a notice related to the Independence Day Celebrations 2025, which all affiliated schools should take note of. This blog post will give you complete details about the MyGov portal activities announced in association with the Ministry of Defence, and why schools, students, and teachers must actively engage in these national events.
As per CBSE Circular No. Acad-46/2025, dated 23 July 2025, the Ministry of Defence, in collaboration with the MyGov platform, is hosting a series of online competitions and activities to commemorate India’s 78th Independence Day.
Objective of the Competitions
These contests are being conducted as part of the Independence Day 2025 celebrations with the aim to:
- Promote patriotic feelings among youth and citizens
- Encourage creativity and public participation
- Celebrate India’s democratic values, heritage, and achievements
- Involve students in nation-building through expressive platforms
List of MyGov Competitions for Independence Day 2025
CBSE has listed six major competitions/activities that students and schools can participate in, all hosted on the MyGov portal. The last date to submit entries is 31st July 2025.

The Director (Academics), Dr. Praggya M. Singh, has requested all CBSE-affiliated school principals and heads to:

- Help mobilize large-scale involvement from the school community
