On March 21, 2025, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced an exciting initiative to help students plan their future careers. In a circular addressed to all CBSE-affiliated school principals, the board introduced three new resources: the Parents’ Handbook on Careers after School in India, the Entrance Exams 2025 Guide, and 21 Higher Education Vertical Books.
These materials aim to guide students in making smart career choices in today’s fast-changing job market. The Parents’ Handbook on Careers after School in India, written by Shri Mohit Mangal, offers practical tips and insights for parents, guardians, and schools to support students in exploring career options.
Alongside this, the Entrance Exams 2025 Guide and 21 Higher Education Vertical Books provide detailed information on academic and professional paths, helping students prepare for their next steps after school.
CBSE Secretary Himanshu Gupta emphasized the importance of career guidance, saying, “Collaboration between schools, parents, and stakeholders is key to equipping students with the right tools for meaningful career decisions.”
