Principals and examiners must verify that the marks align with the maximum marks assigned to each subject.

5. Inclusive Arrangements for CWSN Students

Schools must make adequate arrangements for Children with Special Needs (CWSN) so they can comfortably participate in practical exams.

6. Compliance with Stipulated Timeline

Practical examinations must be conducted strictly between 1st January 2025 and 14th February 2025. Any deviations from the schedule will not be entertained by CBSE.

7. Guidelines for National-Level Sports Participants

Students participating in national or international sports events are not exempt from appearing in practical exams. Separate practical exams will not be conducted for them.

Strict Monitoring and Compliance

CBSE has warned that failure to comply with the guidelines could lead to the cancellation of the practical examinations conducted by the school. Schools must also ensure that practical exams are conducted only with the external examiners appointed by CBSE. Any assessments conducted by unauthorized examiners will be considered null and void.

Important Timeline

  • Practical Exam Period: 1st January 2025 to 14th February 2025
  • Mark Upload Deadline: Same day as the assessment

Schools are advised to follow up internally with Vice Principals or Coordinators to ensure timely execution and completion of the practical exams.
