CBSE Thanks Principals and Teachers for Upholding Transparency and Excellence in the 2025 Board Exams
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended heartfelt appreciation to school principals and teachers across the country for their extraordinary efforts during the 2025 board examinations and the evaluation process.
In an official letter issued on May 27, 2025, CBSE Controller of Examinations, Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj, acknowledged the remarkable support provided by affiliated schools in the smooth and successful conduct of exams and timely result declaration.
This year, over 42 lakh students registered for the Class 10 and 12 examinations, held over 49 consecutive days. Following this, nearly 2.7 crore answer sheets were evaluated in record time — a feat made possible by the tireless work of thousands of teachers across India.
“The professionalism and unwavering dedication of your teachers went beyond the classroom,” wrote Dr. Bhardwaj. “It is due to their sincere and meticulous evaluation efforts that students received marks strictly based on their performance.”
The Board also addressed the new post-result process introduced this year. Unlike previous years, students unsatisfied with their results will now receive a photocopy of their evaluated answer sheets before proceeding to verification or re-evaluation.
Principals have been urged to make students aware of the exhaustive and fair evaluation done by teachers. Students should only apply for rechecking if they are genuinely confident about a potential change, as the chances of a change remain low.
CBSE has thanked schools for upholding academic integrity and supporting students throughout their board journey.
