The second phase of the CBSE Science Challenge 2025-26 will be held on May 8.

Education Desk : The second phase of Science Challenge 2025-26, organised by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), will now be held on May 8, 2025, from 11 am to 1 pm. This Challenge will be held only for those students who have been registered for the second phase by the school after the successful completion of the first phase.

The objective of this science challenge is to promote scientific thinking among students and test their analytical ability. The event is an ambitious initiative of CBSE designed to give students a competitive and enlightening environment.

Important points about the Science Challenge 2025-26 exam:

The second phase of the exam will be conducted in online mode.The question paper link will be activated on the CBSE main website and the CBSE Academics website at the scheduled time on May 8. Registered schools will have to login through the LoC login credentials, as was done at the time of registration.

Each registered student will have to take this test individually. The time limit of 60 minutes will include students downloading the question paper, reading the instructions, answering and uploading the answer sheet. The portal will be automatically closed as soon as the exam is over, so no facility of extra time will be given.

The format of the Science Challenge 2025-26 test

  • There will be a total of 40 multiple choice questions, each carrying one mark.
  • There will be no negative marking.
  • Students will have to submit the answer sheet as soon as they finish answering.
  • The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the accuracy of the answers and the time taken to answer.

Technical Requirements for Science Challenge 2025-26

  • A separate computer for each student.
  • High-speed internet connection (at least 50 Mbps)
  • Medium to high-configuration computer with 8GB RAM
  • Taking the test in the Google Chrome browser will give a better experience
