CIET-NCERT Launches Five-Day Online Training Programme to Help Teachers Use Digital Technologies and Modern Teaching Practices
The Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET-NCERT), under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has announced a free five-day online training programme titled “Reimagining Pedagogy in the Digital Age.”
The training will run from 15 June to 19 June 2026 and aims to help teachers, teacher educators, school leaders, prospective teachers, and other education stakeholders understand modern teaching approaches in digitally enriched classrooms.
The programme will focus on learner-centred teaching, blended learning, active learning strategies, educational technology, personalised learning, and professional growth.
Participants can attend the live sessions free of cost, while those who complete the related DIKSHA course and assessment can earn a digital certificate that counts towards the 50 hours of Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
Why Is CIET-NCERT Organising This Training Programme?
NCERT has designed this training in line with the vision of NEP 2020, which highlights the transformative role of technology in improving the quality, accessibility, equity, and effectiveness of education.

How Can Participants Get the CPD Certificate?
Participants who want only to learn can watch the live sessions free of cost.
However, participants who wish to earn a certificate must enrol in the DIKSHA course that NCERT will release on 20 June 2026.
To receive the certificate, participants must:
- Register on DIKSHA.
- Link their APAAR ID and DigiLocker account.
- Join the online course.
- Complete all learning resources and activities.
- Submit the required assignments and discussions.
- Score 70% or above in the final assessment within three attempts.
- Fill out the feedback form.
After completing all requirements, participants will receive a digital certificate through the DIKSHA platform. They can also access and download the certificate from their profile and DigiLocker account.
