The Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET), NCERT has launched a special five-day online course titled “Rethinking Mental Health, Multiple Sclerosis and Accessibility.” The programme will run from 18 May to 22 May 2026 from 12:45 PM to 1:30 PM daily.
NCERT designed this course in line with the goals of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The programme focuses on mental well-being, emotional resilience, accessibility awareness, inclusive practices, and understanding Multiple Sclerosis.
NCERT Focuses on Mental Health and Inclusive Learning
NCERT explained that mental health plays an important role in overall health and human development. The programme highlights emotional, psychological, and social well-being while encouraging supportive and stigma-free environments.
The course also discusses the Mental Healthcare Act 2017, which guarantees the right to mental health care, promotes dignity and autonomy, and decriminalises suicide. NCERT also highlighted initiatives like Manodarpan that support student mental well-being across India.

How Can Participants Join the NCERT Online Course?
Participants must first complete online registration through the official Google Form link shared by NCERT. After registration, participants can watch the live sessions on:

NCERT will also upload recorded sessions for participants who miss the live classes.
How Will Participants Get the Certificate?
NCERT will share the quiz link only with registered participants on the fifth day of the programme. Participants must score at least 70 percent marks to receive the certificate. The programme allows only one quiz attempt.
NCERT will send certificates through email within 30 days after the quiz closing date. The quiz will close on 22 June 2026.
