NCERT launches free PAL online training for teachers from July 13–17, 2026. Check schedule, certificate, enrolment dates and participation steps.
NCERT’s Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET) will conduct a five-day online training programme on Personalized Adaptive Learning (PAL) from 13 to 17 July 2026. The programme will help teachers understand adaptive learning, digital technologies and Artificial Intelligence for classroom teaching.
The Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET), NCERT, has announced a free online training series on “Personalized Adaptive Learning (PAL)”. The programme will run from 13 July to 17 July 2026, with live sessions every day from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
The training aims to help teachers use adaptive learning strategies, digital technologies and Artificial Intelligence to create learner-centred classrooms.
Why NCERT Is Organising This Training
NCERT has designed the programme in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-SE 2023). The training will help teachers understand how technology can support personalized learning, competency-based education and inclusive classrooms.
Objectives of the Training
After completing the programme, participants will be able to:
- Explain the concept, need and scope of Personalized Adaptive Learning (PAL).
- Understand adaptive curriculum and instructional strategies.
- Identify digital technologies that support adaptive learning.
- Explain how learning analytics and data help personalize learning.
- Understand the role of Artificial Intelligence in Personalized Adaptive Learning and evaluate its benefits, challenges and ethical use.

How to Watch the Live Sessions
The live sessions will be available from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm through:

Participants can also watch the recorded sessions later through the official YouTube playlist.
How to Get the CPD Certificate
Participants who want to receive a digital certificate under the 50 Hours Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programme must join the DIKSHA course after the live sessions.
To receive the certificate, participants must:
- Join the DIKSHA course when enrolment opens.
- Complete all digital learning resources.
- Participate in all course activities.
- Score 70% or above in the final assessment within three attempts.
- Submit the feedback form.
Eligible participants will receive a digital certificate on the DIKSHA portal. They can also download it and access it through DigiLocker.

How to Participate
Participants who only want to attend the live sessions can watch them on the NCERT YouTube channel or PM eVidya DTH channels.
Participants who want a certificate should:
- Register on DIKSHA and link their APAAR ID and DigiLocker ID.
- Join the DIKSHA course when the course link becomes available on 18 July 2026.
- Watch all course videos.
- Complete all activities and assignments.
- Score at least 70% in the final assessment.
- Submit the feedback form to receive the digital certificate.
How to Get the 50-Hour CPD Certificate
Follow these steps to earn the official digital certificate:
Step 1: Register on the DIKSHA portal and link your APAAR ID and DigiLocker ID (if you have not already done so).
Step 2: Join the Personalized Adaptive Learning (PAL) course on DIKSHA when enrolment opens on 18 July 2026. The course link will be released on the same day.
Step 3: Watch all the learning videos available in the course.
Step 4: Complete all course activities, including discussions, assignments and interactive tasks.
Step 5: Take the final assessment. You can attempt it up to three times. You must score 70% or above to qualify for the certificate.
Step 6: Submit the feedback form after completing the course.
Step 7: Download your digital CPD certificate from your DIKSHA profile. You can also access it through DigiLocker after it is issued.
Videos will appear as the live sessions are broadcast.
