NCERT’s ‘Sapno Ki Udaan’ e-Magazine Now Monthly: Entries Invited for May 2025 Edition
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued an important circular (Circular No. Acad-20/2025, dated 28th April 2025) inviting entries from students and teachers of all affiliated schools for the ‘Sapno Ki Udaan’ e-magazine. This initiative is led by the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India.
The ‘Sapno Ki Udaan’ e-magazine, which was previously a quarterly publication, will now be published every month starting May 2025. This change aims to provide all students and teachers with more frequent opportunities to express their creativity and imagination. The theme for the May 2025 NCERT eMagazine edition is “Food and Cuisines of India.”

Guidelines for Entries
Participants, including students, teachers, and staff, are invited to submit their creative works. Submissions can be in the form of poems, stories, articles, plays, essays, illustrations, profiles, travelogues, infographics, photography, quizzes, and personal reflections.
All entries must be original and unpublished and must strictly adhere to the prescribed word limits. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification.
Submissions must be typed following the correct format: For Hindi entries, use Unicode font, 14pt size, with 1.5 line spacing; and for English entries, use Times New Roman font, 12pt size, with 1.5 line spacing. The accepted file formats are DOC, DOCX, or PDF only.
Each participant must clearly mention their Full Name, Class (if student), School Name, Designation (if educator), along with valid Contact Details (Email and Phone Number).
Submission Details
CBSE has requested schools to send one best entry each in Hindi and English on the given theme. The last date to submit entries is 2nd May 2025, by 4 PM through this Entry Form Link.

- Traditional Cuisines and Local Catering Traditions
- Street Food Culture and Food-Related Memories
- Food Startups and Experiences of Young Chefs
- Ayurvedic Food, Stories of Farmers, Innovations in the Food Industry, etc.
