NEET UG 2025 Admit Card Released – Here’s How to Download Before May 4 Exam
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the admit cards for NEET UG 2025. Candidates appearing for the prestigious medical entrance exam can now download their hall tickets from the official website – neet.nta.nic.in. The NEET UG 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on Sunday, May 4, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (IST) across 552 cities in India and 14 cities abroad.
This year, NEET returns to its pre-COVID format, and the exam is expected to witness the participation of lakhs of aspirants.
Admit Card Is Mandatory – Download Now
Candidates who registered between February 7 and March 7, 2025, can log in using their application number and password to download the admit card. NTA has clarified that entry to the exam hall will not be allowed without a valid admit card.
Steps to Download NEET UG 2025 Admit Card:
- Visit neet.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the ‘NEET UG 2025 Hall Ticket’ link.
- Log in using your application number and password.
- Download the admit card and check your exam centre details.
- Take a printout and keep it safe for the exam day.

What’s New in NEET UG 2025?
This year, NEET has introduced a few major changes:
- The exam returns to the pre-COVID pattern. No optional questions.
- Total 180 questions in the paper.
- Exam duration is 180 minutes (3 hours).
- No extension was given during the application window.
The exam will be conducted in offline pen-and-paper mode at thousands of centres. All question papers will be transported with high security, and police escorts will monitor the distribution to prevent malpractice.
Why This Year Is Important?
After the controversy in 2024 involving exam cancellations and re-tests, NTA is taking extra precautions. With a strict timeline and unchanged marking scheme, NEET UG 2025 is expected to be more transparent and efficiently conducted.
This year, NEET UG entrance exam for admission to undergraduate medical and allied courses such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, and BSMS is scheduled on May 4. The exam will be conducted in offline pen and paper mode from 2 pm to 5 pm across the country in 552 cities AND 14 Cities abroad.
Last year, over 24 lakh candidates appeared for NEET UG. This year’s numbers are expected to be similar, if not higher, due to the stable academic cycle and timely process.
