From this year, students can first apply for a photocopy of their evaluated answer sheets. After reviewing their answer sheet, they can choose to apply for verification, re-checking, or both.

These changes were approved and ordered by the CBSE Controller of Examinations, Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj, on May 2.

What was the previous process?

Earlier, students had to follow a three-step process:

  1. First, apply online for marks verification.
  2. Second, request a photocopy of the evaluated answer sheet.
  3. Third, apply for re-evaluation if needed.

Only students who applied in the first step were allowed to continue to the next steps.

What has CBSE changed this year?

CBSE has now reversed the process. Students will first be able to see their evaluated answer sheet before applying for re-evaluation or verification. They can check the marks given, official comments, and any possible errors in marking.

If they still feel unsatisfied, they can then apply for verification, re-evaluation, or both, based on what they find in their answer sheet.

Stay tuned for official updates regarding CBSE result verification, and ensure to follow only CBSE’s official platforms for accurate information.
