CUET UG 2025: CBSE’s Special Orientation for Schools – Must-Attend Session for Principals & Counselors!
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will organise a special orientation session for school principals and counselors to help them understand the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for undergraduate admissions.
This programme aims to equip educators with the right knowledge to guide students effectively. It will take place on April 17, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at the CBSE Integrated Office Auditorium, Sector 23, Dwarka, New Delhi. Attendees are advised to arrive by 9:00 AM for registration and pre-programme formalities.
Why CBSE Is Conducting This Orientation Programme?
This orientation programme aligns with the goals of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which focuses on enhancing career counselling in schools.
By conducting this session, CBSE plans to offer detailed insights into CUET and its structure, helping school heads and counselors better support their students during university admissions. Since CUET is now a major part of admissions in central, state, deemed, and private universities, this training becomes all the more important.

CUET UG 2025: Key Exam Details
The CUET UG 2025 exam is tentatively scheduled between May 8 and June 1, 2025.
It will be conducted in 13 Indian languages, including English, Hindi, Bengali, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and others. CUET provides a single-window admission platform for various universities, reducing the need for multiple entrance exams.
Who Can Attend and How to Register
Principals and counselors from CBSE-affiliated schools are eligible to attend this programme. However, seats are limited to 350 participants, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Selected participants will receive confirmation via email. CBSE has advised all interested educators to register as soon as possible. Additional information is available in the official notification.
