NEET UG 2025 Admit Card Released: Entry to Centre 3 Hours Early, Videography of Every Candidate Inside Exam Hall

Education Desk : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit card for the NEET UG 2025 exam. Candidates can download their city intimation slip and admit card from the official website. This time many important changes have been made in the examination process, which is very important to note.

It has now been made mandatory for all candidates appearing in the examination to reach the examination centre three hours before the reporting time. Apart from this, videography will also be done for the first time in every examination hall this time. To ensure the identity of each candidate during the examination, their videography will be recorded and facing the camera will be mandatory.

NTA has clarified that no candidate will be allowed to refuse videography during the examination. This process will be strictly implemented to maintain the transparency of the examination.

This time more than 23 lakh students have applied for NEET UG 2025. Keeping in view the increasing number, the number of test centres has also been partially reduced. Last year, centres were set up in 557 cities, while this time the exam centres have been set up in 552 cities.

How to download NEET UG 2025 admit card?

Candidates will have to enter their registration number and password to download the NEET UG 2025 admit card. After this, the City Intimation Slip and Admit Card can be downloaded. Candidates should carefully check all the information given on the admit card, such as the name of the exam centre, address, reporting time and exam guidelines.

Candidates have already been informed about the city of their examination centre through Test City Intimation Slips. Now the complete address and other necessary instructions are available on the admit card.

Importance of NEET for medical college admissions

NEET UG is the only entrance exam for admission to medical colleges across the country. The exam is conducted for admission to MBBS, BDS and other medical courses. Recently, the government has announced that now two other necessary changes will also be made for medical admissions.

First, videography will be mandatory in the examination hall. Secondly, candidates will have to report at the centre well in advance so that there is no lapse in security and transparency.

According to experts, these new changes will make the examination process more secure and fair. Videography will help in preventing the use of unfair means and early entry at the centre will avoid overcrowding.

Apart from this, now any kind of irregularity during the examination will be immediately recorded and action will be taken. All the departments related to the examination have also been given strict instructions that there should not be any kind of laxity at the examination center.
