CBSE has released the Class 12 Artificial Intelligence Sample Paper for the 2026 exam, detailing question pattern, marks distribution, and key topics for students.

CBSE has released the latest Sample Question Paper-1 for the Class 12 Artificial Intelligence board exam, giving students a clear idea of what to expect in the upcoming March 24 examination.

What’s inside Part A?

Part A focuses on Employability Skills and carries 10 marks. It includes topics such as communication, self-management, ICT, entrepreneurship, and green skills. Students will get 6 objective questions, out of which they must answer 4, along with 5 short questions, where they can attempt any 3.

What Part B covers for AI learners

Part B is the major portion of the paper, carrying 40 marks. It contains a mix of objective, short-answer, and descriptive questions. Key areas include the Capstone Project, Model Life Cycle, and Storytelling with Data. Together, these sections test practical concepts such as scoping, designing, training models, evaluating them through MSE/RMSE, and presenting insights through data storytelling.
