Why is CBSE promoting positive affirmations in assemblies?
CBSE aims to strengthen the emotional well-being of students. Through positive affirmations, the board wants to nurture a growth mindset, enhance mental focus, and encourage constructive self-image among students.
These affirmations are designed to help students start their day with clarity, calmness, and confidence. They also build emotional resilience and self-worth.

Each affirmation is also provided in Hindi translation to help reach a wider student base.
How should schools implement this directive?
- Introduce 1–2 affirmations daily during the morning assembly.
- Make sure the affirmations are age-appropriate and value-based.
- Encourage students to recite or even create affirmations.
- Display them in classrooms or bulletin boards.
- Schools are free to adjust the format to fit their assembly structure.
