CBSE NEWS DESK : The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a special seminar-cum-orientation programme to foster a positive environment and leadership development in schools. This initiative is being taken in line with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, wherein holistic development of students and engagement with the community is stated to be important.

This programme of CBSE will motivate the Principals and Vice Principals to strongly implement positive affirmations, leadership skills and community development programmes in schools. The CBSE board has also clarified that the programme will focus on strengthening the self-confidence, leadership ability and social responsibility of the students.

The seminar will be held on 2nd May 2025 at CBSE Integrated Office, Sector-23, Dwarka, New Delhi. The special CBSE training programme will be held from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm. Participants are requested to reach by 9:00 am for pre-programme formalities.

The main objective of the CBSE seminar is to train principals and vice-principals to create a supportive environment in the school through positive affirmations, the board said. Along with this, this CBSE Seminar on Positive Affirmations in Schools will promote new leadership opportunities in schools and motivate students to take an active role in school governance.

CBSE plans to strengthen the bond between schools and local communities through the seminar. Apart from this, the board is also focusing on encouraging a culture of inclusive education and lifelong learning.

The registration process will be online and interested Principals and Vice Principals can apply through this Google form link. Registration will be limited to only 350 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. A confirmation email will be sent to the selected participants. Only registered participants will be allowed to attend the programme. The cost of travel and accommodation will be borne by the participant himself.
